My Work
Hello! My job as a sales person is very challenging, hard, rewarding and fun. There are many opportunities to know about different countries and their culture and many languages including Russian, French, Spanish, and even some African lingo. Our sales staff is from 9 different countries; it gives us a multicultural working environment.

Our daily work consists primarily of approaching customers all over the world, from Caribbean, Africa, Pacific and other regions to support their purchases including payment, shipment and delivery. My day starts from checking emails and calling customers. I believe there are more chances to generate many sales by calling customers directly. Not so often but in busy periods, I have about 100 emails a day to follow up; I sometime feel I do not want to open my email account. Busy time gives me a hard time sometime, but I always try my best after all.

I feel lucky to work for this company. Our sales staff is relatively young and creating dynamic team, always challenging to produce more and better results.



When do I feel "Challenging/Rewarding" and "Arduousness"?

When I have a conflict with my manager or colleagues, work can be not lovable as I wish. The reasons could be various, from vehicle holding between sales to different opinions in sales strategies. Discussion can create bitter moments, but we all try our best to resolve the issues to achieve the same goal.

Some customers visit our office to purchase vehicles. In these cases, sales staff will spend time with them to give support for their purchases. Customers would like to go to many auctions, but sometimes auction dates are hard to arrange with their schedule, and the customers can get dissapointed. Some customers get homesick and grumpy for being in different culture. I feel challenging to give them the best support I can, because I understand that they fly 10,000km for their purchases.

Many customers save a lot of money to purchase vehicles from Japan. In rare cases, the vehicle is delivered with stolen parts or broken engine due to the careless driver, and the customer has no chance to enjoy the vehicle. I feel sorry for the customer, even the damages were not because of bad quality of our goods. I believe that the best part of my job is when I have a feedback from my customer, whom I've provided services from the beginning, that he/she is very happy with their purchase and refer us to their relatives.



My goal over the next few years

I see myself within the next couple of years having a role in overseas development - visiting countries, researching their market and seeking potentials to make us as a strong leader in the pre-owned vehicle export market. I already have ideas; I cannot wait to reach people who have not had a chance to get to us before.

I also love being sales representative and meeting people from all over the world. With Trust, there are opportunities to visit other countries, and it is a great chance to experience different cultures.

Once the market is stronger, I believe we will be the closest to the customers to provide the best support for them as a leader of the pre-owned vehicle exporter.
